Wilderness of spring: everything starts with a pair of feet
Spring is the best season for backpacking. The snow has just melted, the rivers are flowing again, the trees are beginning to sprout new buds, and the whole world seems to be reawakened. When I put on the heavy bag and left the job that was no longer exciting, I felt an unprecedented freedom. Instead of facing the screen every day, it is better to face the huge mountains, lakes and endless forests.
My goal each day was simple – find a place to pitch my tent, make a fire and watch the sun rise from east to west. The fun of camping is so easy, there are no to-do lists or deadlines. Just you, your equipment and the peace of nature.
Reasons behind dismissal: Why escape from the office?
You may ask why I made this decision? It is actually very simple. I was tired of the repetitive routine in the office and felt that I was losing my passion for life. I no longer felt excited about my job, but instead felt like every day was a waste of my life. One morning I looked out the window and realized I had to make a change. So after months of planning I decided to embark on this solo camping trip.
The pack contained my essentials, tent, cookware, map and some books I had always wanted to read but never had the time to read. This year I only intend to do one thing – talk to nature.
Surprises and challenges at camping
The spring wilderness is not only beautiful, but also challenging. Although the sun was shining, the cold nights and occasional rain reminded me that camping is not a romantic picnic. Especially deep in the forest, the weather can be unpredictable. At night, the cold wind came in through the cracks in the tent, and I had to wrap myself in my sleeping bag. During the day I wandered in the forest and crossed slippery muddy paths. Although my steps were heavy, my heart felt extremely relaxed.
And backpacking is a challenge in itself. You have to learn how to properly organize your food and water, manage your physical strength and plan your route. Every step you take means leaving the safety and comfort of the city and entering an unknown natural world. But it's this kind of adventure that makes me feel like I've rediscovered my passion for life.
Social networking in the wilderness: Do celebrities love the wilderness?
Unexpectedly, many celebrities also enjoy this type of wilderness camping experience. A famous writer said in an interview that leaving the hustle and bustle of the city and going into the wilderness allowed him to rediscover his creative inspiration. Another famous actor also shared photos of his backpacking trip in the spring wilderness on social media, writing: "Walk with nature and you will find peace deep inside."
These stories made me realize that I am not the only one who is tired of modern life. Many of us are looking to reconnect with nature, and the wilderness becomes a place where we can escape everyday life and find ourselves.
Self-discovery: Everything nature taught me
After a few weeks of camping, I gradually learned to enjoy my alone time. At first, alone in the vast wilderness, I felt extremely lonely. But as time went on I began to feel a freedom I had never felt before. This period not only taught me how to survive in nature, but also allowed me to re-understand myself.
Every day I wake up at the campsite and wonder why I didn't make this decision sooner. In the embrace of nature, I rediscovered the rhythm of life. No mobile phones, no meetings, no to-do lists, just the morning sun and chirping birds. The wilderness taught me how to slow down and appreciate the beauty of life again.
Want to try it too?
If you also want to get away from the daily stress and try a solo camping or backpacking trip, spring is undoubtedly the best time. It not only symbolizes a new beginning, but also gives you the most beautiful nature and the most suitable temperature. It might sound crazy to quit your job and go camping in the wilderness, but sometimes life just needs a little craziness to really feel the taste of freedom.
